This gallery is of Hearst Castle and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. All photos were taken with a Canon EOS Rebel Digital Camera (not by me), using a slow shutter speed for the indoor Hearst photos - flash photography is not allowed (and our tripod was confiscated for the duration of the tour!) A 75-300mm lens was used for long range shots. The photos came out amazingly well relative to other digital cameras. I only had to color correct about 10% of these pics, whereas on the older cameras I had to correct all of the pics.
I will try to recall some of the interesting factoids we learned on the tours. I have a bad memory so I hope I get this right.
EDIT 6/7/08 - After the gallery upgrade, I moved the descriptions into the caption fields, and some of them got truncated. :/
